What are our programs?

Mori no Ike will be running a combination of virtual and residential programs over the course of the 2023 summer. Check out the Rates & Dates page for more information.

The virtual programs (1-week) will be conducted via Zoom from the comfort of your own home (or wherever you choose to join us from) the weeks of July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31-August 4, and August 7-11, 2023. For more information on the virtual programs, visit the Virtual Programs section.

The residential programs (credit, 2-week, and 1-week) will be conducted on Concordia’s site in Cass Lake, Minn. from June 12 through August 12, 2023. For more information on this year’s residential program, visit the Residential Programs section.

What do our Villagers do?

Mori no Ike Villagers explore the world of Japanese language and culture through interactive activities in the target language. They also develop the skills to become courageous global citizens as active members of a community dedicated to understanding the world through the Japanese experience.
